So there are a number of functions defined in sdk/dgNewton/Newton.h which have no implementation. If they are unused or deprecated, they should be removed. Otherwise, they should be implemented somewhere.
The list of forward declared functions missing implementations follows.
- NewtonHingeGetJointAngle
- NewtonHingeCalculateStopAlpha
- NewtonHingeGetJointOmega
- NewtonHingeGetJointForce
- NewtonConstraintCreateHinge

Question: can the old joint api be removed from the repo? Seems like going forward the CustomJointApi is the way to go.

NewtonConstraintCreateBall would be removed too?
yes, are you using those joints?
I do not want to remove it just yes because believe or not ther are lot of changes to support that.
beside I still planning to add some special joint for soft body as destruction at some point.

I think you mistakenly edited post instead of quoting it
I'm still using one ball and socket joint but you can freely remove it, i'm just asking to be able to plan better to when i sync to latest newton agaion, i will rewrite the code that uses ball & socket joint.
