Hi,
Does Newton (not the newest version) have a function for getting a listing of all polygons that intersect a sphere or box? Not for physics or collisions, just retreiving all the faces from a world mesh that intersect a box/sphere shape. I'd like to create decals at a certain point, so I need to know the geometric in that (small) area.
Greetings,
Rick

Using the contacts... I don't know which points exactly are given by the contacts when a box intersects another shape. The 4 edge intersection points? For the decal I need to copy a small piece of the surface geometry, then clip it in a box for the resulting decal shape. If the contacts exactly outline the shape that is inside the box, it would give me enough information to do this.
Greetings,
Rick
