I noticed some interesting files in 300 like dgCollisionDeformableMesh.cpp. What does this do? Is it a particle system?

Ha you are an earlly constomer.
yes it is part of some of the new feature of core300.
those object are part of teh new feature I will be checking in in few day.
it is not a particle system in the sense of the way particles works in game, it is called particle because the points of the shape are threated as individual particles rather than a solid body.
It will suport Soft bodies, deformable bodies, and cloth

I added the first stable version to SVN, if you sync to you will see where is at.
I have about 50 of teh soft biody, and about 25% of collision (only collision tree at this time)
But you can see what the goal of this feature is, I want to be a kick ass soft body, soem this is reliable, eassy to use and paratical not a check box feature.

@Julio:
When do you implement threads for linux, so core 300 compiles on Linux, too?
I don't really need the new stuff right now, but I'm really excited what the new feature is like and how much speed improved.
It would be OK with me, if you want to finish the new features before making it work on Linux, so its just a question.

the linux part will come after I get these feature and and he rest of the solver.
I am giving some time because I do no have a linux system now, I chnage my drive to a solid state, but it is only 128 g and afte indow, max vs, and some oteh app, it only leave 30 gig free.
I nee to get a bigger one and they are expensive still. maybe by these snas givin I get a larger one and I can do teh dual linux/windws again.
