Hi,
how do I implement a rope physics in newton?
my first idea was to to create some newton spheres and connect them with a ball joint.
These parts will then be drawn as a line strip.
do you think this is the way i should do it?
or are there any problems etc.?
an other issue is that you should be able to make the rope longer (having a winch and the rope should get longer and longer and then getting shorter after rolling back)

Spheres and balljoints work for rather short and freefalling ropes but is not perfectly stiff and it wont work for applications like rolling it up on a winch.

And is there an other possibility to get such behaviour with newton?
