Custom Joints 1.53 -> 2.0

Apart from the GetInfo bit is there any other differences between 1.53 Custom Joints and 2.0's? Also is the GetInfo required for the joint to work?

GetInfo is for imprt, export, editors, or any othe util that reqyuere infomation aboout the joint.
it is not needed it for the joint to work.
