Sorry to start a new post but my othersubject title wasn't attracting the right attention I think.
What I am trying to achieve, is to create my own character controller.
I have used this technique before while using another physics engine and it is quite simple.
I want attach a ball and a cylinder together with a universal joint.
The ball will be able to roll forwards and backwards and side to side, and will also be affected during jumps, but thats for later.
The cylinder will have an upright lock or Up Vector attached making sure it doesn't fall.
It will also be able to rotate on the Y axis and then, which ever way it is facing, the ball will assume this vector as forward.
My first major obsticle is how to make the ball spin correctly while also not travelling through walls and also being responsive to wasd control.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
