What are joint actuators? Is this like a "motorized" joint?

they are stuff peopel use in robotic. bascially control motores. they are also called servo mechanism

you can for example make sliding doors, and the angle of sliding position is set by a spcifyng a position or an angle.

Wooooo! That will be super useful. This is a really great feature for Newton.
Julio, you have got to identify one or two types of users and really design Newton to satisfy their needs. The way you get technology into the mainstream is by winning over one niche at a time. Due to the superior stability of Newton, I think robotics and simulations is a good niche to target, so this is a great feature to support that goal.
