Hi! I want to know if the first, second and third demo on the video posted below are supported or will be supported.
First demo: Simple soft bodies
Second demo: Fluid simulation with rigid bodies
Third demo: Fluid simulation and water
Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljFUcBzYkPsSpecially the first and third demo are important for my next game.
And also fur rendering:

Why don't you just use PhysX?
It seems you are not aware of the fact that Newton basically is an one man show.

The soft body I will do as soon as I get the destruction completed,
the fluid will take some time, The problem wit that fluid and is that amount of data that need to be manipulator at the same time.
is not the technology, fluid simulation I not more than a couple of hundreds of line of straightforward code using he particle hydrodynamics.
The problem is that the amount of particle that you need required massive parallel proceeding for simulation and for building the visual mesh after simulation.
do not let those demos fool you, Nvidea and Havok do that every year with suit up PCs equipped with three or four prototype GPUs, double top for the line Intel CPU and special cooling system, just to render those demos.
those system cost up of 10 tor 15 grand. No developer can afford those in any production game, at least no now and not for the next 5 or 6 years maybe 10, when that kind of hardware become main stream.
those are NVidia deceiving practices that the use to attract the uneducated gamer enthusiast.

... or use both PhysX and Newton together?

I tried many physic engines and also PhysX but Newton is still the fastest for my purpose and also the stablest engine. I'm using Newton since 2009 and don't want to change for fluid simulation.
@Julio: Soft bodies are cool stuff. Fluid simulation is not needed for the next 8 months, so this can wait.
