Hi
How would I create rope using the Newton deformable mesh and deformable body?
I see that NewtonCreateDeformableMesh takes just a NewtonMesh. How is the mesh converted into the deformable body internally?
Would it be better to just use a set of dynamic bodies connected with CustomPointToPoint constraints?
Thanks
James

Yes, soft bodies are not finished yet.
You can put all joints of the rope into a skeleton, to make the rope non-stretchy.
See joint demo from demo sandbox.
You may also set inertia for the bodies uniform to improve stability a bit.
I use inertia from a sphere with the same mass as the real body.
