dJointLibrary plain c include?

Hi there,

It's been a very long time since I've had time to work on some projects, and since getting back to the Newton forum, a lot has changed, I've downloaded the latest and searched for the raw c include file for dJointLibrary but with no luck...

Can someone point me in the right direction? My primary focus is using the Custom player controller without objects/c++ classes.

Well I'd like to use the latest joint library in C, Pascal or Ziron, neither of these can use c++ classes, so they must be simple API methods. I remember back using Newton 3.0 alpha with a joint lib, but in the most recent, I've searched and unable to find any external flat methods, only C++ classes.

Basically I would like to call

CreatePlayerControllerManager(), CreatePlayerController(), etc from C

Is there a wrapper in the Newton library or it was removed? :(

As far as I know there isn't any c wrapper for the joint library. For now you will have to create it yourself.

Make the C interface is a lot of work.
I have a script that make the interface automatically, I used when I made the first OS10 wrapper.
The OS 10 changed the Objective C and the scrip broke and I stop using it.
what I can do is that I can fix it so that I make the C Interface for the Joint Library.

I am busy at the moment with these features finish 3.14

-Finish the Vehicle, this could be any day now
-compile in double (this is probably tow or tree days)
-Add the particles body (a body that does no have inertia) we can do that how by is inefficient
-finish voronoi demo destruction with a cleaner interface and better demo.
-(this in optional) a dynamic ragdoll that can synthesize behaviors and also adapt animations.

how soon do you need it that? one of the problem I have is that many time people send me private message, for that kind of stuff, and after I work hard I never heard anything again, this is why I pay attention to request from people who are actually use the engine.

It is not super urgent, but it is definitely needed to continue progress, I agree that it will be a lot of work to manually write a wrapper, hence I asked.....

If you do fix the wrapper generator, that would be great, but I can wait for some time, I am currently working on several commercial projects, so I do not need this very soon..... what sort of time-scale are we talking? 1-2 month?

Do you think it is worth to go back to using Newton 2 for now? How well does the player controller work in Core 2? Is it suitable for a third person human player?

no you can wait for the auto wrapper, I will do after I get the car and the double precision.
