Using Newton in Squeak?

Postby shadowisadog » Mon Nov 02, 2009 7:20 pm

Hello,

I am working on a research project that uses Open Cobalt for a 3d virtual peer to peer distributed world. I would love to use Newton because it is a deterministic library (unlike so many others out there) but I need to know if a binding to the library in Squeak/Smalltalk (The entire source is readable by anyone) would violate the License... Specifically the part about not being allowed to distribute a physics library... Or is that the terms of the older version? I apologize if this has been asked a lot of times before, I just want to make sure that I am not doing something against the license.

I would be very appreciative for any response.

Thank you!

you can use the library anyway you wishes.
distribute the libray or the DLL, or any part of the code that comes with it,
