Compoundcollision and working out which sub component

Postby Slick » Sat Jul 02, 2011 5:38 pm

I am struggling with trying to work out which collision item within a compound collision has been hit when the contactcallback is called.

I seem to just get the ID for the compoundcollsion object itself.

Should I be trying NewtonMaterialGetBodyCollisionID or something?

I think I finally just answered my own question.

It does appear that NewtonMaterialGetBodyCollisionID is the correct call to identify which sub collision piece of your compound collision object has been hit.
