I decided to re-install vs2008 so i can compile core 300, but it seems some of the functions used in the code are for vista and above only, the first one i ran into is "GetThreadId" - this is vista and above for example (
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms683233(v=vs.85).aspx)
Is core 3 intended to be for vista, 7 and above only?
Also there seems to be a problem when trying to compile releaseDLL, many linker errors.
- Code: Select all
2>NewtonClass.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual void __thiscall dgBilateralConstraint::SetDestructorCallback(void (__cdecl*)(class dgConstraint &))" (?SetDestructorCallback@dgBilateralConstraint@@UAEXP6AXAAVdgConstraint@@@Z@Z)
2>Win32/newton/releaseDll\newton.dll : fatal error LNK1120: 237 unresolved externals
whilst i'm at it
newton-dynamics\packages\thirdParty\glew\build\vc6\glew_static_2008.vcproj - this also does not exist (for compiling packages)

This was corrected few days ago, are you getting the SVN?
It should work on all windows versions now.
