When I download 2.36, and try to compile, I come across errors, while I successfully compile 2.35.
Juleo, there are variety of people who still want to use Newton 2. May I suggest you to re-upload 2.36 so it compiles.
Here is an issue at google code:
https://code.google.com/p/newton-dynami ... tail?id=19It confirms that I'm not the only one who can't compile 2.36.

IIRC only core 300 is still being maintained. However, it would be very important that the website is up to date for the sake of a growing community and active userbase at the very least.

I am assuming you are trying to open newton core 2.36 with visual studio 2010 or higher.
That is not going to work because visual studio project 2008 project file are no 100% compatible with Visual studio 2010 or better.
Newton 2.36 was created with Visual studio 2008 and it use the IDE macros to specify relative path and other build defines.
when tries to open the project with V2 2010, vs 2010 try to convert the project but is mess up the define in a lot of places.
I actually had to make the project files for V2 2010 manually. and it is a lot or work for a SDK that is not longer in used.
I just reopen the 2.36 with VS 2008 and I works, there is only one function that you can simple comment out or return NULL
but if I do the same with VS 2010 is just does no work at all.
