Oh, maybe a orange screw is not good? - maybe it should be gray and the font orange again.
But Bullet is orange too and switching colors might be good (but i like orange)
Just let me know if i should make a few variants.

awesome, more logos, more variation!
But i see some problems with the logo: Apples reminds me to... Apple, not Isaac - sad but true i would avoid that.
Well, yeah after these earlier drafts has been uploaded we've discussed it some more and came to the same conclusion. But, we found a solution for that: tilt it to the side and make it look like it's fallen from a tree.
Also there are severel lines of different width, looks a bit messy or programmer art, and it feels a bit 'broken' (sorry - i'm just good willing too)
you're right, I forgot to scale down the leaf after scaling down the apple. anyways, this is still just a quick draft of the idea behind the logo. there are some more rough edges or ways to polish the tesselated apple.
and lastly, here's the latest and last revision:

Hello everyone. Before you read, I wanted to warn you that the following is only my opinion and is only meant to transmit my opinion :p so you should only consider it as a drop of water in the ocean

.
I find it cool that people try to improve Newton

. I like the logos that you made (JoeJ and manny) but I lean towards JoeJ's one for the best. What I like less with yours manny is the text which does not go well with the apple (IMHO) but I really think that you guys did a good job.

From what was said earlier: I think passing from SVN to Git would be great too because it would allow the community to make changes to the engine more easily and allowing to tweak it more therefore improving the library.
And I repeat, this is only my opinion (and it should not count much).

can you make so that it does no say Game dynamics,
just:
Newton Dynamics
an I think the logo have to be vector, so that it can scale

There's no way to export vector paths from Photoshop. I'll do tomorrow at work, there i can copy paste the paths to Illustrator and save from there...
You don't wanna the "TM" included?

Ah thank you,
the vector I think is important I remember back in the beginning of newton people were asking for the vector formal, and we did no have one for a long time
until Sascha williams donated one.
I think The reason is that bitmap are very difficult to scale
also I do not think that spreading out world Dynamics look better than just normal spacing like in the fist logo.

That's true. I need more font styles to fix that (Dynamics too small or to big does not look better), i'll do tomorrow, cause i've only system fonts here...

Hello everyone. I did not want to start a new thread for the question I am going to ask: shouldn't someone update the website? By this, I mean updating the text here:
newton.php (for example) or the download section:
downloads.php. Having these links not updated can turn off people searching for a physics library because they will think the lib is dead. (Personally, I thought the project was dead at first, but luckily, I decided to give it a look on google code and to my surprise it was still active).
PS: for those searching for the github project, it is here:
https://github.com/MADEAPPS/newton-dynamics(It was quite hard to find

)
