Looks good. I'd still prefer the 'original' one, because:
The orginal looks like the srew is in some dynamic motion, which is interesting and creates more tension.
The fixed one is somehow not right (because the screws angle does not match the otherwise strict alignement - you'd need to snap the angle to some geometrical 60 degrees, but it wouild become just more boring).
Maybe i'm wrong, maybe it's just a matter of taste, no one knows.
But what i can tell you for sure is: Whet it comes to design, there is no thing like 'different distance from left / right or top/ down'. Forget about all units, rulers and guides and just use your eyes and feeling, blah blah (I hate to talk like that, but you do a good job on web layout, mobile racegame looks awesome etc, so maybe you can learn a bit from this even if you tend to disagree at first...

of the two image I think the second is stoically better,
If I see anyone one or both without knowing the explanation of eth distribution, they will look identical to me. but after I see how the screw makes it take more space, then it does make sense
that the second Ii more esthetically pleasant.
I do think that for almost 99.9% of the people the two image will look identical, so I would go with the second, the edited one so that the screw head take less space.

Here it comes the spammer.
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8686I have no idea why spammers love this forum, this forum is not that popular, and I do no see the same problem on o the similar forums.
It takes just a matter of hours for the Spammer and the Pornography sites to attack this forum.

Could you add more themes? On a larger monitor the forum is just in the middle.
